Japan here we come!!

Finally we will be leaving for our Japan trip this Friday! We had initially planned to travel in end October due to hubby and sis' tight work schedule, but ended up going end September due to some time constraint. Just as well that we can celebrate Ee's birthday over there in Japan while my birthday will be spent 40,000km in the air on the plane as we'll be travelling back to Singapore on that day. Everyone is really excited about this trip as we'll be visiting Mt Fuji, Fujikyu (Thomas land), Tokyo town centre, Disneyland, as well as going on a Narita farm trip. I heard that it's really challenging to go F&E in Japan as most people there are reluctant to speak English and they are not really child friendly. We 4 adults will be lugging 3 young kids plus luggage and pram etc and I certainly hope that we will be able to get through this 1 week in Japan. It's like our ultimate challenge for the year! The most unfortunate thing is that Hao is down with a cold this week and Min seems to have caught the virus from him. I am crossing my fingers that Hao will recover soon with the medicine and lotsa rest and Min will recover asap soon.

Hubby is now in Shanghai and will be back tomorrow night. After his 2 weeks of not travelling on business, he's back to his hectic travelling schedule again. We really miss him lots. He flew off last Saturday and will only be back tomorrow night. After that we'll be heading to Japan on Friday night and spending a week there and back next Saturday evening. Luckily he'll have a week or so to rest before going to Beijing again in mid October. Sometimes I really duno whether it's a good or bad thing that he's assuming more responsibilities at work. I guess for everything there's a opportunity cost or trade off. I am just glad that when he's home, he's really helping to look after the kids and spend time together with them.
